If Pentax came out with something that had some of the features i like in my
D2H,i might
trade up.
I find for 8x10's that i print for customers,the 4mp D2H is just fine,so i'm
not to
concerned about going
to 8-10 mp.
I would like the newer version of the istD to have the combo Raw and Jpg
recording,faster
buffer and
maybe 1/2" bigger.

Also i hope they work on newer lenses for increased pixel sizes to come out. I
have been
following
some threads with the new Nikon D2X and using some of the older lenses people
are having
some
pretty serious CA problems. Some examples look like the neon filter in PS was
applyed.
The CCD/CMOS technology seems to have paseed the qual;ity of the lenses and any
little
imperfection
is amplified. If thats a correct analogy

Just a thought or two is all.:-)

                                > If Pentax offers a markedly superior DSLR,
which I think they will do, I'll sell one of my
*istD-en and keep the other as my backup camera. I'd want at least 8 megapixels
and a much
faster buffer, although it will take at least 10 megapixels to make me really
happy. I'm
pleased with the results I'm getting now, but more and better are almost always
good
things.
