With luck some time in the next few days, i should take possession of a 300mm
for the
istD. After a
few test's i;ll see if i'll get the APO EX 1.4 extender for it.

For some reason,ever since i joined this list it seems, coworkers are seeking
my camera
knowledge
(which BTW is why i ask a lot of those questions.LOL)and someone who is looking
to trade
in some
lenses,having bought a P&S digital that he likes, brought them in for me to
have a peak at
and give him
an idea. First one was a cheaper lens,fiqured around$75.00 or so for that.
THEN he pulls out this monster,which happened to be a Sigma 170-500 1:5-6.3D
with nikon
mount in
beauty shape. Just so happens i could do with some longer Nikon glass.:-)
Long story short,he's going to see what Henrys will give him(not much) then
he'll let me
try it on the
D2H and see what the pictures look like.
If it turns out to be half decent i could be bringing a BIG bag to GFM.<vbg>
