Ooh.  Like the M 85/2 I watched someone else win?  Or the limited
lenses that will probably be out of production by the time I get
around to convincing her that I don't need heating oil to take
photographs?  And then the price will probably triple as everyone 
else
who put off buying them does the eBay scramble.  D*** her!
Find a bad habit she has that you don't have, that cost money.
I don't smoke, my wife does.
Perhaps you could use having babies....
Anyway, buy what you want, and when she protests, throw her bad habit 
in her face.
It works for me.
