That doesn't work with every site. I haven't looked at the HTML for those sites, but a few of years ago when this problem first ticked me off enough, I did check the HTML and CSS for those sites, and they were specifying their font sizes as fixed numbers of pixels and some browsers, IE included, wouldn't/couldn't resize those fonts.
