No, Herb - you've still got hold of the wrong end of the stick.

If you go back and read the thread, you'll find that the
question about TIFF that Shel raised, and to which my post
was a reply, was whether or not he needed to care about
whether PEFs were TIFFs.

To quote:  "Why should I care if TIFF values are used for storage?"


Nobody (exept you) is talking about converting to RGB TIFF.
