Paul,

Terrific job of capturing this magnificent beast at the moment of take
off.  Is there anything more awe-inspiring than a Canada Goose in
flight?  I think not.

Geez, beautiful sharpness, lovely motion blur of the wings, great pan
(you can see the background zipping by), and the tight crop works
perfectly here.

This is about as good a shot as I've ever seen of one of these
wondrous waterfowl.  Thanks for sharing it with us, and I'm humbled
that my name connected with it by title.

ps:  I seriously meant everything I said here (except that you know I
hate the critters).  That being said, I don't mind them so much in
flight - I have to admit that they look pretty cool in their V
formations.  I just don't like them pooping on lawns...  <g>
