Interesting review. Of course, not ever having used one (except for a few frames here and there) I've only experienced the camera vicariously, from this list, but two things struck me: 1) Both the reviewer and some responders, all of whom were generally impressed with the *istDS, said they had no experience with Pentax products. None. Pentaxes were for poor students, one said (paraphrasing). I said it once, I'll say it again, the *istDS is a hugely important camera for Pentax, as it is/will bring some prominence to the brand again. 2) I'm scrolling down, and see a photo of a kid holding a bottle. "Geez, that looks familiar," I think to myself. "That looks like one of Godfrey's," I said (this time aloud). Scroll down a bit more, and sure enough, there's Our Man Godfrey (wasn't that an old movie? <g>), extolling the virtues of the DSLR. Way to go! Thanks for the link, Paul. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
