Greetings friends! I recently took slide pictures of my daughter dancing with other members of ballet school. Pictures were taken with flash, as it was a dress rehearsal. [Lighting was very poor. Exposure without flash was f2.8 and 1/90 sec.] I used ZX50 with FA 135mm f2.8 lens & external Pentax 220T flash and Provia 1600 ASA slide film. I used aperture priority system. Aperture was f2.8. I was about 50 to 60 feet from my daughter. I checked the flash exposure with OK check light at back. I had noticed a problem. During dance the girls [about 10-12 girls] were moving around the stage. Sometime my daughter was half hidden by other dancers. Will the camera with spot focus like ZX5n will help in this situation? How quick the spot AF of ZX5n compared to AF speed of ZX50. Normally AF focusing speed of ZX50 is faster than AF focusing speed of ZX5n [according to people who had both ZX50 and ZX5n]. Secondly, how big are the sizes of spot focus area of ZX5n and focusing area of ZX50? With thanks. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
