Assuming the optical axis hasn't been messed with, it should be an easy fix (strip from the back). However, all major parts should be super tight and fixed with threadlock in the factory. Quite possible the lens was serviced, but threadlock wasn't applied afterward (quite common for used lenses being serviced in the past).
