No problem giveing you bank account. No security risk. HE can't withdraw from your account. Businesses do it all the time. Perhsps avoid using an account with a credit card - but some other account. An account you don't make internat withdrawals from. International buyeres need IBAN and SWIFT number etc.: Ask you bank.
