No, I have their name, email address (perhaps postal address too) and
I am conducting a transaction. This is quite the opposite to
attracting a few gazilion of internet users to compromise my bank. And
I repeat: all cheque transactions carry the bank details.

The reason why I use a bank rather than stick them under my matress is
security. When I act properly I have comeback. I defined properly
above.
