your friend needs postcard-like photos. study a lot of postcards and imitate 
them. they are almost all shot with wide angle lenses. i suggest the 24, 28, 
35, 50 as your most important lenses. mix in some close-ups of flowers and 
wildlife if you can. if you had the 24-90, that could replace them all.
