Thanks, everybody, for your comments and suggestions, especially WRT
Pentax' repair dept.

I've finalized the acquisition of another LXen, such that I don't know
that it's worth spending money right now on getting my current one
fixed.  I always have option of sending it off in the future, if needs
require, but since it works just fine except the flash, and since I'll
soon have a "new" fully functional one, I think I'll be satisfied
enough.

I noticed that the leatherette is starting to lift on my "old" one,
right near the bottom of the lensmount.  I think it's time to start
thinking Pink Snakeskin!!  <LOL>
