I've finalized the acquisition of another LXen, such that I don't know that it's worth spending money right now on getting my current one fixed. I always have option of sending it off in the future, if needs require, but since it works just fine except the flash, and since I'll soon have a "new" fully functional one, I think I'll be satisfied enough. I noticed that the leatherette is starting to lift on my "old" one, right near the bottom of the lensmount. I think it's time to start thinking Pink Snakeskin!! <LOL> cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
