The 165 is a good start but some people recommend fitting a short extension tube for tight portraits.
FWIW my kit is 45, 90, 165, 300. I chose the 90 over the 105 because I'm so fond of the 43mm Limited's field of view.
The 75mm f/2.8 would be a nice one to have :)
