I'm not sure where you are located, but the American
version (PZ-1p) is still available at many major
camera retailers in New York City. After seeing the
disappointing specs (apart from apparently high build
quality) of the MZ-S, I just bought another PZ-1p from
B&H for $480 USD. Adorama and some of the other
larger sites still stock this camera, but the supplies
seem to be drying up at the mid-sized and smaller
sites. So, I'd act quickly - within the next couple
of months at least, sooner if possible. Despite the
testimony of a few list members, I and so many others
really love this camera. Enjoy it!
