The only magazine that might do a comparative review would be U.K.'s
Practical Photography - likely as part of an overall review of such
zooms. Also, watch Photodo, although they seem to be behind the curve on
new lenses.
The June 01 Popular Photography reviews the Tamron 24-135, rather
favorably. I've also seen it commented upon favorably in Peterson's
Photographic. If I didn't already have two Power Zoom 28-105s, and a
bunch of 58 mm. filters, I'd be considering this Tamron.
