My apologies for the mis-attribution, Paul. I do recall a remark regarding a 
Diane Arbus quality to some of Franks photos from a year or so ago, and 
realize my wording put too much emphasis on it.

I guess I don't see Arbus's work as overly dark (though she certainly had 
her dark images).
