Glad to get some more corroboration on this. When I mentioned my observation to Bruce he agreed as well. This means, IMO, that an 18mm (or whatever focal length) is not effectively a 28mm (or whatever other effectively similar focal length) when used in an istD or digi with a similar sized sensor. This, then, begs the question of how one might get a similar perspective and AOV when using a digi as when using a full frame body. Am I missing something?
