I have a 10D. I didn't buy a 20D as, for all it's advances, it didn't impress me as being a step in the direction that *I* wanted. I bought a Pentax *ist DS instead ... it moved in the direction of smaller, lighter, sensibly priced, etc that was important to me.

I agree, seems to me that a 20D competitor is more important to the
health of Pentax than a 645D.
