If you put an ME (without winder) to your left eye, and then operate the film advance lever, you'll probably poke yourself in the (right) eye. If you're wearing eyeglasses, then you'll definitely end up banging the film advance lever into the lens. > Let me clarify my original statement a bit: "it" refers to the ME > Super with the winder (actually without it as well as I thought I > needed a winder) and outperforms is not a speed contest, it's an > overall conclusion (ie I would rather have an SFXn than an ME Super). The ME Super was an excellent camera of its time, but comparing it to a SFXn is probably not goint to make it look that good. But with an "M"-series lens, or if you want quiet operation (plus, IIRC, an all-manual mode of operation, albeit very limited, if you end up without batteries), an ME Super can still be a good choice.
