Thanks Jens.
Yes. It's 'sin'ful. :)
It's enough to make me get forget this temporary foray into the digital netherland for a while. Ha hah. 300mm and 55mm lenses are on the way and I expect I can get a 135 macro at a bargain basement price as well.

Congratulations, Tom. It's a very nice camera. It's just oozing quality, sin't it? I had one for a week, once. Then decided I didn't "need" it. I may buy into the 645 systym, because it can share the Pentacon Six lenses. I never got around to that, though :-) Make sure to post some nice 6x7 photographs!

Just received the brand new in box 67 with TTL meter prism. Both pre-67II. Also a 165mm f/2.8 lens, indistinguishable from new.
I was sweating it a bit. I did a Buy it Now, outbidding about 17 previous
bids that were only up to half the real selling price, which IMO was
fantastic. The seller had only 24 feedbacks on e-bay and did not use PayPal.
He did use BidPay, though they rejected my transaction because they
thought the seller had too little feedback for the transaction amount. I
sent a USPS money order via Express next-day mail, subsequently lost the
money order stub and the express mail slip w/tracking number. After 6 days
went by w/o the seller receiving the payment, I went to the post office.
The clerk told me there was nothing I could do without the tracking number.
I said 'look, we know when I sent it, the from address, the to address, that
should be enough for the USPS to zero in on the tracking number'. They sent
me to a back room and came up with a photo copy of the tracking slip. It
had taken six days, not one to make it to the seller's city. Payment was
finally delivered a week after sending.
Anyhow, I'm delighted with the 67. Exactly as described. Brand new without
a fingerprint on it. All seems to be in working order, meter works,
including the battery in original packing. Haven't run a roll of film yet.
It's initially not as heavy and cumbersome as I anticipated, though it's obviously a camera needing a tripod. Glad I have that big heavy Bogen that William Robb made fun of up in Canada (his was bigger).
Will purchase several rolls of Velvia tomorrow and give it a go. I noticed there's a special 67 tripod plate available though my regular Bogen quick-release fits and works. Is this just a larger plate for the sake of stability?
