The first one is stunning. Great composition and nice framing. The second one is good, but not quite as appealing to me as the first. It could also have benefited from stopping down a bit. The sockethead screws at the bottom of the pic are slightly soft. I probably would have gone to f11 on both, just to be safe. There's no background to blur, so why not stop down?

p.s. I have no idea what its called, but its a collection of about 7 of these spiral things with blue LED's in between the pieces of metal (but most of them were burnt out).
