Yo Doug. EF/M42 adapters are cheap and cheerful - and they work fine. For example: <http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4702&item=7505019321> Allows use of Taks and other M42 screwmount lenses in both manual and aperture priority (stop-down metering) modes on a 20D. No danger of smacking the mirror AFAIK. If you really want to get serious, try this: <http://www.cottysnaps.com/snaps/mods/eoskmount.html> :-) HTH Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________
