Just curious what the white fabric is on all these soft boxes and reflectors.
Looks like some sort of taffeta..

So, my question is what fabric has this reflective quality? If it is Rib Stop Nylon, what is it?
I have no idea, however, and I hope you don't mind this correction, but... on the theory that if you know what it IS, you can better describe it to a fabric shop. The other thing is, you have to be talking to someone who knows his or her fabrics, not just a clerk...
Rip (with a P) Stop nylon is a fabric designed to not rip when snagged. It was/is used in outdoor situations where one might run trails going thru brush and have branches tearing at your clothing or back-pack material. It is woven so that any snag like that will not propagate a tear or rip. Hence, Rip Stop!
I do hope that helps in some small way...
