Not entirely fair, I've got a few hotties (blue + red) that regularly cause me hassles from 1/10 to 1/6 second which is right where my hot-lights put the exposures on my light table and of course they aren't taken care of by the integrated NR. With the new wafer cleaning and micro-environment systems being implemented in fabs these days I'd be surprised if the next generation of sensors weren't improved WRT photosite consistency, especially those with less dense pixels.
