I have found that when I made the move to digital, everything changed, including bokeh.
Some lenses that I thought had gorgeous imaging characteristics on film produce some pretty ugly results on digital, and some lenses that I positively detested on film have turned out to be pretty good performers on the istD.
One thing I have found is that good bokeh is not so easy anymore.
