Well, others already have mentioned that the softening was probably overdone...
The one I like most is IMGP7182_small.html, not just because it's the least soft one, but because the young lady looks a little reserved on it. That makes her look more self confident and gives her a kind of strength, better than looking so frightened, IMHO.
Thank you. BTW, I am keeping these opinions to show to the young lady. These 8 were her picks, but she was really unsure about which to use.
