Bill, They're your pics, make 'em any way you like, regardless of comments
and crits from others.
To ignore comments from others negates the entire exercise of putting images up for critique or viewing.
I consider myself a pretty competent photographer, but I hope I am never so arrogant as to ignore constructive criticism.
I recall reading in one of St. Ansel's monographs about a gallery show he did, where many comments he got was that the images seemed rather dark.
At the time, he discounted the objections, but a year or so later, he looked at the pictures again, and couldn't believe he had printed them down as much as he had.
If half a dozen people had said they loved the stuff just the way it was presented, and one had said they were a over filtered, that would be one thing, but when a number of people say the same thing, one should look at the work one has presented with an open mind regarding the judgement call made during processing the image (or printing the picture).
