Many older cameras use a bridge circuit for metering and even if they didn't I'll bet none used the internal resistance of the battery as a current limiting component in circuit. So it's very safe to assume that no circuits will be damaged by lithium cells. I've used them successfully in my LX, Super A, MX, Leica M6, 2 in an old P67, my Mamiya 7II and a handful of other cameras that aren't memorable enough to mention.
