Fuji now contends that the current Astia 100 is their finest grain slide film. I have shot everything, but Provia 100 has been my choice for awhile. Astia's slightly lower contrast (as I understand it) may be more scan friendly. I've found Kodak G series to have grain size similar to that of Provia, but not as smooth and even.
