I posted a version of this more than a year ago, and last night revisited the photo to try a somewhat different interpretation based on some techniques learned since the first post. Here's the original, unretouched except for conversion to JPEG from the original TIFF produced by the Sony digicam, and the conversion made last night. Comments certainly welcome.

Shel, you really seem to excel in b/w conversions.
The second one is much more "to the point" than the first. My wife tells me that the two shots are simply "two different things"... I tend to agree.
Well, you get two for price of one :).
