The MZ-S has been on the German Pentax web site for quite some time now. Now
also the new 24-90mm lens is mentioned. One thing intrigues me: they state
after that the lens will fit on any Pentax body: "Adapter f�r Modelle
anderer Hersteller stehen zur Verf�gung." Which means that adapters for
models of other manufacturers are available. Is Pentax going into third
party lens manufacturing? If their glass is really so good as we always say,
it makes sense.
Lately some emails with complaints about the high prices for this lens were
going around. Because of that (?) B&H has changed the price for this lens
from $499.95 to $399.95. So hurry before they give them away!
