John, The beautiful thing about CS is that it CAN work on 16-bit TIFF files, including many filters and brushes that in earlier versions of PS (7.0) would only work on 8-bit files. Bruce uses another program, but that doesn't change Photoshop's capabilities. maybe you need another "gal" to do your Photoshop work.
