MS Internet Explorer 5.2.3 and Safari 1.2.4 on Mac OS X v10.3.8 are all I have available right now on this system. Both support profiles. The two photos with embedded profile look nearly identical, the two without profiles look quite different ... the ProPhoto image is flat and desaturated, the sRGB image is overly contrasty and the color is off. Measurement in Photoshop with the sampler tool on a screen grab confirms this.
I've sent you the screen grab I used to measure in Photoshop.
