Well, I guess they tested just the available-as-new Pentax 50's. The A 50/1.2 and the A 50/2 were never replaced with autofocus versions, and they (and a few other A and A* lenses) have had a "life" for many years after most of the other A lenses were "retired". Still, yes, it'd be ~great~ if they had "tested 'em all" while they were at it - <g>. Fred
