Ann, I've had an SF1 since 1988 & have run thousands of rolls thru it. Still have it but since I got the MZ-S & *ist D, it doesn't get much use. It did require a little maintained, but given the usage I believe it has performed well. Built like a tank. Doesn't have all the current bells & whistles that later cameras have but I'd recommend it.
