I'll give that a try. I've got access to a PC right now so I may be able to try the program you've mentioned.
Of course the question is, "If you can't see 'em, does it matter?" I'll run something from the C5050 through it, too. Too bad the coolpix doesn't do RAW, I can always recognize low key shots from that one by that big green blob in one quadrant!


What about my miracle batteries? Do you think I should expect Pentax enthusiasts to start maintaining a vigil outside my door? :-)

PC CS RAW has integrated compensation for over-exposure so don't be too
surprised. You're best off using a camera generated TIFF file for analysing hot
pixels.
