Thanks for the input, Mark.  It is fairly front heavy, but it is a
good range for some of what I do.

I also picked up an A 35-105/3.5 at the same time.  It is a little
smaller and easier to manage.  But there are occasions when both
lenses might be used on both bodies at the same time, so having some
duplicity is good.

Both lenses seem to render people rather nicely - not to harsh, but
still reasonably sharp.  The 35-105 appears sharper wide open, but
both look pretty good by 5.6-8.0.

I have put up one pic so far shot with the 28-135 but haven't really
had any comments other than "cute", so we'll probably just try it out
and see how it goes.
