Sure, lets say it costs 50 grand to develop a piece of software, but you can burn it to CD and make a nice jewel case layout for a couple of dollars.
So, is a reasonable price 3 dollars?
Thats a 50% markup, but you will never pay for the cost of developing the software.

Incidentally, MS would still make a profit if they sold XP for $5, and it's a bit more complicated than Capture One.
