I have to agree with Paul on that. My 12 year old aluminum Halliburton
looks like hell and now leaks, where my 10 year old Pelican, which has
seen similar miles and service, is still 100% water tight and looks
like new, minus a scuff or two.

The Pelican cases are indestructible. They're some kind of extremely

I've used the same Halliburton case (aluminum) for over 17 years of
heavy
air travel (generally 70 to 100,000 miles a year). I have no issues
with the
Halliburton (now available with rolling capability) I have no
experience
with the Pelican cases but I would be concerned about the durability
relative to an aluminum case.
