I had one I used back in my LX days. Always had mixed feelings about it.
Pluses: easier to use than the standard viewfinder when wearing glasses. Nice for a walk in the nature reserve - switch from horizontal (regular) to vertical (looking down through the finder) faster, easier than adding a refconverter when doing the occasional low-level macro or other such shot.
Minuses: a bit harder to precisely focus. Much harder to slip it (with attached camera) into the camera bag.
On balance, a nice gadget, but too bulky, too unaesthetic to really suit the LX. Great if you really need it, but not a substitute for one of the regular finders.

Hi,
from time to time these show up on eekBay. Seems a nice idea to be able to switch from a "normal" view to a view from top without effort. Nonetheless, magnification seems smaller, according to Boz' site.
So please answer, does anybody use this thing, how does it perform?
Thanks in advance, pancho
