I have seen the tulip festival.  For two straight years I would drive up
from Portland, Oregon.  Wish I had the nice weather you had for the
photographs.  Always cold and rainy when I was there.
That festival has been going on for a long time.  Can't believe it would
just go away.  There is a similar festival in the Willamette Valley, but on
a smaller scale.  That's a going concern there.  Can't see that ever going
away as well.
