All the recent talk about Dave's horsey shots reminded me that I have a few myself from last summer. There is a big event in July called the Capital Classic and has some quite big money prizes. One of the small money events is the half-time entertainment of the Horse-Dog relay. The dog and handler run an agility course set up in te same ring. As they cross the finish line, the horse starts its half of the course. Knocked bars are penalised as time faults. Fastest team wins. My friend's dog was injured and couldn't run so I took over her slot with my dog. Handed over the camera to her so she could take a few pics of the event. By the time I had run, she was moaning that her back hurt and the camera was too heavy (*istD !!!) so I took over. Couldn't resist taking a couple of the pretty gee-gees. In the short time I was watching the action I noticed that there was one jump which was incurring a lot of knocked bars. It would have been fun to camp out on that jump but I imagine if I'd been shooting for money, not a lot of riders would have been buying pics from me :-)
