I tried ImageReady once simply because it has some integration with Photoshop. I just couldn't get it to do what I wanted, but I'd had training in Fireworks so it wasn't looking good for ImageReady right from the start.


Since DW and Fireworks are already part of the same
suite and DW has greater market share, it would be great to see Fireworks
survive and ImageReady either die or be completely integrated into PS.

I sincerely hope you're right. I'm hoping they keep the products as-is and just offer a range of packages at a discounted price.

worried right now as well. Some are speculating that Freehand will be sold
to another company

Well Adobe did sell Freehand after buying Aldus to get PageMaker, so maybe they'll sell Freehand again after buying Macromedia for Flash :)
