Perhaps, but I'm well under 60 and I still look to what was Contax (some of
their products) as being top shelf.

Nope - The Contax G2 rangfinder and the G series of lenses were some of the
best lenses around. A lot newer than "40 years ago" too :)

Don't know about the whole Nikon/Canon thing. To me, they're about the
same. Agree on the 645 market though - too bad.
