I posted my comments before I read the other comments, including yours, Paul.

I think I'd not PS the dying edges, not due to some philosophical
reason, but just because as the "last daffodil of the season", this
one ~should~ be starting to die.  It's not a shot of a beautiful
daffodil, but one that's starting to look frayed around the edges.

Your other PS suggestions are valid (for those who do PS alterations <LOL>).
