according to birders, despite appearances, there are a lot more seagulls 
than Canada geese. the geese are just a lot more obvious because they like 
to live where we do.

Toronto, however, has plenty of the buggers.  I don't know, maybe they
followed the ships along the St. Lawrence Seaway to the Great Lakes?
Whatever, the garbage dumps, as well as the harbour are full of 'em.
