I'll concur with that. I went to school in Fairbanks and have been in Denali park a number of times. What's rare is usually not the composition or technical prowes of the photographer, but rather being in there when the weather cooperates like that. I've never seen Denali from Wonder Lake... only from a distance.If you check past PUG's you'll see that I did something along those lines. It was titled "North Face" - taken with a 600mm (on film). Got published as the first place winner in the annual Alaska Magazine photo contest. That bright peak BTW is Mt Mckinley (Denali). North Face is in fact a feature of Denali on the north side. I've been to Denali numerous times & with the weather there as it is, a totally clear morning shot as posted is somewhat rare in my experience.
I also like the fact that you referred to the mountain by its correct name.
