Vivitar Series 1 40-210/3.5 (67mm)

The above named Vivitar Series 1 zoom that I bought the other day on 
ebay arrived in the mail yesterday. This is the first version of that 
lens.  It appears to be in very nice condition with beautiful glass. i 
had a few minutes to try it today, so I snapped some cherry tree 
blossoms and a lamp in front of my house. The first cherry branch was 
shot in the macro mode at aboiut 120mm, f8. The second branch was shot 
in normal mode at 210mm, f5.6. The lamp was shot at 210mm, f3.5. All 
are handheld. Shutter speeds were in the area of 1/250. I'm very 
pleased with the sharpness and bokeh. Hope to get out and do some real 
shooting with it this weekend. But these are encouraging.
