by the same measurement methods used to state the life of inkjet prints, wet photographic prints on Fuji Crystal Archive paper are the best at about 60 years. under those same conditions, Epson archival ink prints are estimated to last 80-100 years. you don't print in color using any current system if you want prints to last.

Agreed.  Trying not to show off my ignorance too much, I just did a
little gazing at current printing methods.  Turns out, a digital
projector is used to expose photographic paper.  Did not know this.  I
think we have a few of these from digital images, as well as the
inkjet prints.  What's the current estimate on the lifespan of a color
print?  I suppose I'm just worried about the lack of old photos of my
generation for the generations to come.  Not that they'd particularly
want to look at photos of me. ;)  But hey, I'm still using film for
the bulk of my photography.
